Our Response to COVID-19 All of our staff are trained in infection control and are very careful about the symptoms of COVID-19. We have a transparent process if a resident, patient, or staff member shows such symptoms, and all our staff have been great about following it. If a resident or patient shows symptoms of COVID-19, staff will follow medical advice and self-isolate. Only on confirmation that they're negative will they return home or to the hospital, or if we're confident we have sufficient and appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) to take care of them at home or in the hospital. Our staff know that a resident or patient who is infectious must be cared for using stringent infection control practices and with appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) until they are confident that they are non-contagious.
